We are actively seeking Project Management candidates for the New York Office. The opportunity to work within the Balance and PPNR Modelling team will provide the following benefits to a suitable candidate:
Insight into a new and evolving discipline where every six months we are enhancing the sophistication of the models exponentially
Ability to interact with different Business Divisions and Control & Support Functions across the bank
Provide an enterprise level overview of CCAR, and Capital Adequacy processes and capabilities to develop and manage the Bank’s Capital Plan
Develop a fundamental understanding of the Bank’s Risk and Capital processes
This role will be reporting to the Head of Balance and PPNR Modeling in a highly visible role where you will be in close interaction with our DB leaders and senior executives as well as senior members from the various lines of business. The role will be to both establish and manage PMO processes and model development activities and coordinate reporting processes for various legal entities in the Region.
As a CCAR team member, you will be managing CCAR projects and/or workstream activities. Responsibilities include project planning, communications, work shop facilitation, coordination of and review of documentation
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the “Program Manager” are as follows:
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs
Work independently with team leads/teams/management
Drive and challenge business units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
Desired Skills and Experience
The Program Manager must have working knowledge of model development and the regulatory expectations for CCAR / Stress Testing / US Basel II/III
Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Business, Economics, Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent Business Analysis certification and/or relevant work experience)
Four or more years experience in Financial Services
Exceptional process and project management skills, with the ability to execute against tight deadlines and remain agile to evolving requirements.
Ability to identify and interpret stakeholders needs and requirements
Ability to work in fast paced environment under strict deadlines
Ability to share information, transfer knowledge and expertise to team members
Excellent communication skills in English (written/verbal)
