Job Description
Role & Responsibilities:
Candidate should have worked in an IT services client-facing environment. They should have worked with leading software house or management consultancy. They should be experienced on large development / maintenance / support projects in the Mainframe / AS 400 technologies. Working across IT and Business teams to ensure buy in and make sales happen. Will be responsible for managing and stakeholders thru the sales cycle. The Consultant will also be required to develop key relationships across customer teams.
Desired Skills and Experience
Skills & Experience:
Overall 10 - 15+ years of experience and who have worked for large Multinational / Indian Companies and has experience in Mainframe / AS 400 technologies. Including 2-4 years of consulting, pre-sales in the technologies and exposure in the legacy modernization space
A deep working knowledge in the Mainframe / AS400 technologies domain
Proven experience at similar levels which includes consulting to senior business management and IT management in client organizations.
Competency in leading Sales and solutioning as required.
Should have been involved in working in an onsite / offshore model and familiar with associated processes.
Responsible for Mainframe Projects sales spanning Application Development, Maintenance, Transformation (or Modernization) and accelerate revenue growth for Wipro
Ability to penetrate into new accounts. Account Mining & meet with stakeholders within accounts.
Creation of healthy pipe line for the practice including transformation projects
Understand the organization strengths and build business case, developing and providing the value proposition for RTB run-the-business and CTB change-the-business of our customers.
Possess the ability, skills and experience to communicate across a wide range of personnel, both technical & non-technical up to senior management levels in client side and internal organization.
Should be skilled at presentations in both formal & informal situations
Willingness to travel globally as required at short notice if such a need arises
Will manage execution of sales campaigns, establish cadence with related stakeholders.
