Job Description
This position will provide direct support to Supply Chain Management Department: (1) setting lean six sigma vision and strategy, (2) deploying organization design to foster continuous improvement and human development, (3) eliminating barriers by enabling effective communication about lean six sigma strategy and deployment and (4) being the subject matter expert in lean six sigma principles, values, philosophies and tools. This position requires effective mentoring at all levels of the organization while exceeding both bottom line, people development and education goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
ALIGN - Lean Six Sigma Vision, Strategy, and Tactical Implementation
Develop and communicate Lean Six Sigma vision and strategy.
Provide effective LSS tools, systems, training and methodologies that will accelerate Jabil’s value stream transformation model.
Maintain regular communications with Supply Chain VPs, Members of the capability lean councils, and Global and Divisional Lean Six Sigma Directors to facilitate key improvement activities.
Review regularly the Lean Performance Scorecard assessing gaps and mobilizing actions in areas of cost, cash flow, and lock vs. target variance. Regularly review and prioritize improvement efforts from the capability area’s performance dashboard (containing metrics and reports).
Pilot new policies & procedures before deployment.
Develop, align and resource for Project/Kaizen portfolio based on capability’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP) key initiatives and key performance needs to support priorities and business plans.
DEPLOY - Lean Six Sigma Vision, Strategy, and Tactical Implementation
Drive the effective Lean Six Sigma transformation using the Jabil Lean Six Sigma principles, systems, and tools through the strategic deployment process.
Responsible to develop and maintain the capability’s enterprise-wide value stream map.
Train, support and mentor Lean Champion, Bronze, and Silver training and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training as needed.
Foster respect for people and humility as they mentor and coach others on their lean journey.
Provide support for enterprise projects or Kaizen Events as needed.
Lead and teach effective use of Kaizen Events to drive a Lean transformation.
Benchmark Jabil Sites and other companies to enhance Jabil capabilities and increase knowledge and skill sets.
Standardize, communicate, replicate and propose best practices across all plants and divisions.
COACH/ENABLE - Lean Six Sigma Vision, Strategy, and Tactical Implementation
Ensure that Jabil’s education & training curriculum & content is meeting the needs of the sites and corporate capabilities, and work with the Global Lean Team to develop and improve training material.
Teach and Coach Core, Capability, and Division Leaders to effectively lead a Lean transformation within their area.
Support site & divisional management’s annual operating plan by identifying key improvement priorities to enhance site and Jabil performance in the eyes of all stakeholders.
Assist in the development & deployment of standardized policies & procedures across all sites.
Provide ad hoc/episodic support for special projects as required (ex. business development and specialty analytic/problem-solving support).
Increase deployment knowledge, skills and effectiveness through reading of book, seminar attendance and visiting companies outside of Jabil. Explore and review Best Practices so that they can be incorporated and deployed across all sites as needed.
Encourage cross training, skills assessment, instructional goals, on-the-job training, teamwork, information sharing, suggestion systems to strengthen and accelerate lean transformation.

Experienced in change management, project management and financial management
Qualified & experienced trainer
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Track record showing continual improvement of personal skills
Ability to influence all levels of the Jabil organization
Education & Experience Requirements
At least 8 to 10 years experience in Manufacturing Management, Engineering Management or Project Management with at least 5 years working in multicultural and multifunctional environments
Minimum Six Sigma Black Belt certified by recognized organizations in the industry (e.g. ASQ, SME, Shingo Prize)
For specific roles: Lean Master and Master Black Belt certified by recognized organizations in the industry
Project and facilitation experience in a heavily matrixed environment
Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
