Director - Infrastructure Security - Lookout - San Francisco

Job description
Lookout is seeking a highly motivated Director who is focused on growing a team of engineers, responsible for people management, driving security monitoring and vulnerability management programs. This role be a leader within Lookout’s engineering team and will be shaping Lookout’s security posture and compliance stance. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with experience managing high volume, global web infrastructure environments that consists of Linux/open source technologies. Understanding a complex services oriented infrastructure and how to secure them.


Responsibilities

Collaborate and drive the technologies and policies to ultimately define Lookout’s security posture
Coordinate with various teams within Lookout on a regular basis to drive Lookout’s security mission and posture across all platforms
Evolve and continue to build Lookout’s overall security program
Overseeing domestic and international compliance, privacy and audit requirements

Desired Skills and Experience
What you need for this position:

Minimum of 10+ years of security monitoring, incident-response and vulnerability management functions with a proven track management of a growing team of 5+ people
Planned and executed a scalable, automated thread-monitoring and vulnerability management program for a high scale cloud environment
Experience managing a security incident response program and team that is focused on high priority vulnerabilities and security events
Strong Leadership skills and team building skills
Proficient in cloud technologies and understand cloud computing
Strong Leadership skills and team building skills
Relevant, industry recognized security certifications such as CISSP or CISM
Exposure to relevant domestic and international security standards and best practices, such as ISO/IEC 27000-series, SSAE 16, and PCI or HIPPA
Ability to mentor and grow a team of 5+
Ability to Partner with Engineering and has the ability to drive projects
