Hitachi Data Systems needs a strategic and passionate leader to drive our digital marketing transformation. We are seeking a Senior Director, Digital Marketing and Technology who will define and manage execution of the digital experiences that our customers, prospects and partners have with HDS. This position has end-to-end responsibility for the company’s digital marketing strategy, properties and technology platforms, including but not limited to global websites, community sites, and reporting and analytics tools.
You will lead a seasoned team of marketers and technologists to accelerate our digital transformation to ensure the company maximizes its digital interactions with key audiences. This role is pivotal to defining the future of our Worldwide Marketing organization, and requires a leader who is both visionary and results driven with a deep understanding of the full spectrum of digital engagement. Key Responsibilities • Lead an experienced group of employees as well as an extensive offshore team to deliver outstanding digital experiences and tools, in close collaboration with marketing and IT colleagues. • Work cross-functionally to ensure digital experiences are appropriately integrated with broader marketing strategies and initiatives, including offline experiences. • Responsible for developing the marketing technology strategy, then deploying and managing the technology stack and digital properties globally. • Full ownership of our HDS.com and global Web properties from technology platforms to site architecture, translation management, UI and SEO. • Integrate and optimize our internal and external community sites within our overall digital strategy, including a focus on SEO and lead conversion. • Enable a data-driven marketing organization with integrated reporting / analytics tools. • Define and drive accountability to key performance metrics across all areas of responsibility. • Educate internal constituents on digital strategy and drive awareness of the value and best practices for digital channels and digital integration. Qualifications • Strategic thinker with equal parts marketing and technology expertise, who can establish a clear vision and motivate a team to bring it to fruition. • Savvy in the areas of UX, UI, information architecture, search engine optimization, mobile strategies, marketing automation, data integration, and analytics. • Champions a user-first approach to designing digital experiences. • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships with colleagues and executives as well as influence without authority. Proven ability to develop a business case and gain executive buy-in for a transformational initiative. • Values speed and quality of delivery and has consistently delivered key projects on schedule and on budget. Manages efficient and effective vendor relationships to maximize quality of deliverables and ROI. • Ability to determine the correct technology solution for a given set of business requirements or stated business challenges. • BA/BS required with MBA/MA/MS preferred. • Minimum of 12 years experience in digital marketing and/or technology roles. Previous global website and digital technology leadership are required. • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager, Jive, Google Analytics, WebTrends, Marketo, SFDC, Oracle Siebel, Pentaho and Oracle OBIEE are all beneficial.
