Director - Product Management - Mobile - WWE - Stamford


Job description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced product manager who is passionate about building mobile entertainment products. The Director, Product Management will be responsible for managing the entire product life cycle for WWE’s iOS and Android apps and partner driven products; including updates for existing products, and bringing new products to market. This position will report to the Senior Director of Digital Products and will work closely with internal
stakeholders/external groups in ideating, creating business cases, defining requirements, and driving the product strategy to grow our digital footprint, increase engagement, and raise the bar of the WWE mobile product portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a background in building exceptional and innovative mobile products, working within a highly iterative product development process. PLEASE NOTE that this position will be based in Stamford, CT, but will require working at our NYC office as needed.



Key Responsibilities:

Manage and execute the digital product road-map
Lead, research, analyze, recommend and oversee the development of new feature sets based on internal and user needs, and use inputs to develop innovative product solutions.
Perform competitive and marketplace analyses to assess trends and guide team to create compelling products and product road map.
Produce product documentation, including product requirements (PRDs), business requirements (BRDs), and User Stories
Partner with the International team to expand WWE's international digital strategy, including the support of localized content for our key regions
Partner with Analytics/Research teams to oversee A/B testing, focus groups, and usability studies to help drive product development, improvements, and innovations
Partner with Digital Design, Engineering and Project Management teams to deliver a superior product experience
Work with Ad Operations and Sales to identify and create new/custom advertiser concepts that support revenue initiatives
Manage vendor and strategic partner relationships
Proactively conduct competitive analysis and market trends to identify areas of opportunity
Keeps current with advances in iOS and Android app technology and industry trends

Desired Skills and Experience
4+ years of online or product development/management experience
Specific experience in launching new and innovative web-based and mobile products
Experience working with and creating wireframes using relevant rapid prototyping tools such as OmniGraffle, Visio, SnagIt, and/or Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Excellent client management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with ability to make presentations and interact well with employees and partners of all levels
Strong understanding and experience with the latest technology including connected devices, emerging technology, mobile products, and social media
Strong knowledge of web/mobile development technologies and web services API’s
Highly collaborative team player with proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Demonstrated drive for superior results and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Excellent thought leadership, strategic, analytical and forward-planning skills
Willing and able to work flexible hours as needed
Bachelor degree or higher in a related concentration or equivalent experience
