Director - Organization Development - Xerox - New York


Job description
The Director, Organization Development will support all aspects of Organization Development within Xerox Services and will build and execute plans and processes to enhance employee engagement, performance enablement and leadership behaviors. Working with a variety of stakeholders, the incumbent will assist in the rollout of corporate organizational development initiatives and programs rooted in the Xerox capability model and aligned with Xerox Services unique objectives.
The incumbent will have primary responsibility for our Performance Enablement program and will drive our Voice of Employee (VOE) initiatives. The incumbent will also lend expertise in the areas of strategic workforce planning, and participate in the continued build out for Xerox Services University (XSU) where they will serve as the expert on all compliance related training for the organization. The incumbent will work closely with the Head of Leadership Development to create and sustain a leadership culture aligned with business strategy through an employee development lens. The ability to identify and create a coaching culture where our employees thrive will be important components of this role. This position will report directly to the Head of Leadership Development in Human Resources.



This Position Will Assist In
The rollout of all aspects of Performance Enablement to ensure all stakeholders see the value of the offering and are participating within the goals set for this initiative
The rollout of development planning to the organization to ensure our people understand the importance of continuous learning and have the ability to grow to their full potential at Xerox
The communication and execution of VOE survey, analysis, assessment and recommendations, including consulting with internal organizations to develop strategies and follow on activities
Enhancing and managing the strategic workforce planning process to ensure Xerox Services has the capability to execute on our strategy
Enhancing and managing learning programs for Xerox Services to incorporate formal and informal learning experiences to our Leaders in line with the 70/20/10 model
Ensuring representation from all employee dimensions in the leadership cadre from a diversity and inclusion perspective in all aspects of the HR Life Cycle
Providing coaching to senior leadership on effective leadership models, behaviors and competencies

Desired Education, Skills And Experience
Undergraduate or Masters Level Degree in OD, OE or HR Strategy
5 years’ experience in a related role
Demonstrated capability in partnering within a service organization in the delivery of programs and processes to develop leaders where innovation, collaboration and customer service are high priorities
A demonstrated commitment to superior customer service and operational excellence
Experience with change management models Organizational/Leadership Development, and succession planning practices
Exposure to Lominger tools required with a willingness to be certified in the use of these tools
Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal, collaboration and team-building skills
