Position Responsibilities
Lead an operations team to deliver and support existing products. Scale the organization and processes to support growth. Liaise with key business partners across the organization to define requirements. Drive reductions in total cost per unit and continuous improvement across the organization. Hire and develop a team of owners to build a supply chain organization. Own overall strategy for product operations.
Work with stakeholders, including Product Management, Design Engineering and other Operations and Supply Chain Functions to define business requirements. Define and improve operational processes and drive change to improve process, test yields and product quality. Identify ways to streamline and improve test yield reduction, factory labor efficiency, and product cost reduction. Generate optimization ideas to feed back into product development processes. Own key metrics, report them to senior leadership and establish action plans to improve them, including on-time delivery of prototype units during the NPI process and in mass production, quality and yield targets, and material and manufacturing costs.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering or a related technical field and ten years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Experience must involve: supply chain experience for a hardware device company; product development experience including taking a product/process from conception to market; managing cross-functional projects across all aspects of manufacturing and supply chain, including factory operations, planning, logistics, commodity management, process and test engineering, and quality; managing new products within a Product Development Process (PDP) with tight deadlines; and coordinating on-time delivery of prototype units, new product manufacturing ramp executing, delivery of initial units to market, and process and test yields at target. May require up to 25% domestic and international travel.
