Director - Display Sales - Samsung Electronics - San Francisco


Job description
Samsung Semiconductor, Inc. (SSI) is a world leader in Memory, System LSI, Storage and Display technologies. We are currently looking to hire a Director of Display Sales for our San Jose office.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage and lead a growing team and represent a knowledgeable and professional image of Samsung Display. This role will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of global display sales for a major Tier One account.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Address customer issues and develop solutions with buy-in from management
Build and maintain positive customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers
Work closely with Samsung management to develop and execute customer specific sales strategies
Ability to train, motivate, and grow sales team
Be the primary contact point for the definition and negotiation of business and long term agreements with the customer
Identify and close new business opportunities

Desired Skills and Experience
REQUIREMENTS

10+ years of Sales and/or Marketing experience
BS in Engineering (or equivalent)
Global account management expertise
Experience managing a sales team
Strong track record of meeting/exceeding multimillion dollar sales objectives
Excellent presentation, written and verbal skills
Ability to interface confidently at all levels
Willingness to travel internationally and domestically
Preferred Qualifications

MBA preferred
Experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred; LCD or OLED experience a plus
