Position Overview
This position offers the right candidate an exciting opportunity to support Quality and processes of our growing business within Xerox Services. This position combines the administrative and daily strategy tasks associated with quality assurance and quality control. This fast growing, dynamic environment could provide the right candidate with the opportunity to grow his/her career in a number of directions.


This Quality Management Director is a direct-hire full-time position which will report to the Vice President of Quality Assurance & Quality Control and will contribute to the delivery of process and quality excellence across the organization by actively working in the client implementation engagements. This position interfaces with all levels of employees in a confident and positive way, and will perform related tasks, as assigned by the Vice President of Quality Assurance & Quality Control.



Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for activities involving quality assurance and maintaining ISO9001 compliance/a L-3 CMMi rating and certification with applicable regulatory requirements, contractual obligations, and company mandated standards. Facilitation and tracking of organizational processes will be required in support of changes made to internal processes and the quality management system.



The Ideal Candidate Will
Manage large team of project-based quality assurance staff; ensuring project coverage; staff development.
Manage team of technical domain experts to support all program activities from sales through project closeout.
Enforce quality policies and mitigate quality issues.
Continuously assess quality of products and services delivered by the programs, using established and approved QA methodologies; report delivery quality results to PDSI leaders using defined metrics.
Establish comprehensive component review process to discover quality risks; conduct ad hoc reviews on platform designs to inspect provisioning of quality mechanisms.
Continuously assess program adherence to and adequacy of established delivery processes; report process quality results to program delivery leaders as well as Quality Governance Leader.
Assess and report risks to program QCDs indicated by quality delivery and process metrics.
Develop plan and actions needed to address quality threats and opportunities.
Implement and ensure use of standardized QA tools across programs.
Leverage Six Sigma principles to inject QbD in to program delivery in the requirements and design phases of the system life cycle, focusing on more efficient development, deployment, operations and maintenance.
Build awareness for QbD need and opportunity.
Develop technical quality awareness training.
Establish role-based examination and certification program.
Conduct role-specific application quality training.
Liaison with Chief Engineers and the program delivery leaders to ensure consistent, consolidated quality execution approach.

Requirements For Hire

Has wide-ranging knowledge and experience base in software development, program management, quality assurance, etc. in their repertoire.

Must be able to read, write and comprehend English at a college level
Must be able to analyze, research, write white papers, prepare and pitch powerpoint decks
Must be a team player, a great communicator and collaborator
Must have experience in organizational transformation, and delivering results in a high-paced environment
BS in engineering and or computer science or related technical discipline
12 years’ experience as Project Manager or Program Manager in a large organization
12 years of Quality Management experience with continuous improvement and internal auditing experience with ISO9001 and Six Sigma
A balanced level of experience in systems quality, hardware quality and software quality
Previous experience with ISO9001/CMMi implementations with the organization achieving and maintaining ISO9001 certification/CMMi SCAMPI assessments
Certified Quality Manager (ASQ)


A Plus Would Be
Supply Chain Quality management
Experience in the high management industry, and in Systems/Software Development Life-Cycle (SDLC) environments
Experience as Software Development Managers or Project Managers in large organizations
Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
Certified Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt
CMMi Associate certification
MBA
PMP
