Position Description
Morgan Stanley is looking for a Director, Campaign Insights Manager to assist with the day-to-day management of the firm’s multimedia advertising campaigns and branding initiatives, as well as support a range of marketing communications activities. This candidate needs to have experience in media analytics and is responsible for working with a core measurement team to provide analysis on the performance of our advertising campaign.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, with branding and marketing project management experience and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. The Integrated Brand Marketing group is responsible for corporate advertising and branding and delivering strategic marketing and creative support to business units throughout the firm.

Primary Responsibilities

ADVERTISING MEASURMENT INSIGHTS AND BRANDING INTEGRATED MARKETING PROGRAMS AND PROJECT SUPPORT

- Project management of a wide array of campaigns, programs and projects from strategic ideation through execution with a focus on measurement and analytics.
- Support coordination among agency partners and internal groups working on multi-faceted advertising/marketing campaigns and branding initiatives.
- Closely collaborate with the Media/Advertising and internal measurement team to help guide the narrative around our advertising campaign performance story.
- Monitor in-market activity on an ongoing basis to identify actionable optimization decisions including creative rotation, partner selection, audience/data segmentation. Be the performance eyes and ears for in-market activity with a voracious focus on continuous performance improvement.
- Gather and provide information to stakeholders on project status, escalating issues, and ensuring projects are on track with timelines, deliverables, and adhere to our brand standards and strategic goals.
- Facilitate the development, review and approval of marketing content by internal stakeholders, including marketing leadership and internal businesses.
- Maintain documentation, such as status documents, contact tables and other team organizational needs.

LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE APPROVAL MANAGEMENT

- Manage Legal and Compliance review and approval process for advertising and integrated marketing projects.
- Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to submit content and lead discussions on the requests, make required edits to content and enter preapproved content into firm’s formal tracking system.

Qualifications

Skills required (essential)
- Minimum 1-2 years of digital media experience working at a digital, media agency, agency trading desks, in-house client Analytics, publisher sales planning/yield management or ad operations.
- Knowledge of multi-channel marketing technologies, principles, and processes.
- Passion for the interactive space and understanding of emerging technologies.
- Strong analytical and reporting, data visualization and business writing skills required.
- Google Analytics Premium, Double Click Campaign Manager reporting, and Tableau experience a plus.
- Must be a team player and thrive on tight collaboration across team disciplines.
- Effective time management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, Pivot Tables and Power Point required, some knowledge of SQL would be a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Market Research or related field of study; or equivalent experience.
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills and extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively. Job will require prioritizing and coordinating many moving pieces and multiple projects at the same time in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional people and communication skills and client focus – ability to work with a variety of personality types and interact with senior leaders as well as colleagues across the firm
- Self-motivated and ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Education

- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing or related discipline
- Financial services experience preferred. Agency experience a plus.
