Director - Application Development - ADP - Alpharetta

Job description

ADP is searching for a successful Director of Application Development to join our high performance team. The successful candidate will have a strong leadership, project planning, resource allocation, and budgeting experience. This is a management position responsible for designing and building software systems within an enterprise environment

Requirements
Works with Product Management and PMO to ensure projects align
Provide managerial and technical leadership for several PaaS scrum teams
Manage the evolution of the application portfolio
Defines and develops best practices and process improvement. Facilitates solution architecture and execution. Helps establish strategic direction.
Collaborates with other stakeholders including I&O, Vantage, WFN, CAPS, ADP TA, GSO and Architecture
Provide advanced troubleshooting and consulting when required

Qualifications
15+ years designing and building software systems
5+ years management experience
B.S. Computer Science or equivalent
Demonstrate excellent communication skills: oral, written and presentation. Able to distill highly complex or abstract technical issues into clear, actionable points
Develops trusting, influential relationships with peers and partners
Able to direct a global team
