Janssen Biotech, Inc., a member of Johnson & Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Group Product Director, Dermatology Marketing located in Horsham, PA.
The Group Product Director develops, shapes, leads, and implements the Dermatology Integrated Business Plans for our Dermatology portfolio.
The successful incumbent will build integrated professional marketing/business plans to support brand leadership in dermatology. These plans to include key components such as selling material, HCP promotional message development and execution, agency management, budget management, journal advertising, interactive initiatives, congress planning and management, public relations, competitive strategy, marketing research, annual business and strategic plans, plan of action management, patient strategy to include converting, delivering and retaining patients on JBI products .
This position will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Strategic Marketing on lifecycle management and longer-term strategic planning. Close coordination with other functional area leads and the ability to work within a matrix environment is a must.
Key responsibilities include: Lead, develop, and coach a team of marketing professionals; Partner with field sales teams to develop aligned strategic objectives and execution of the Integrated Business; Apply health economic inputs to enhance and evolve the brand's value proposition; Close involvement in cross-functional teams for access, pricing, contracting, and contract execution; Ensure appropriate marketing investment mix to achieve business objectives; Assist in the management of/partnership with advertising agencies (professional / consumer; Monitor the competitive environment and creative sustainable brand strategies and actions; Team with Marketing Services, Legal, Regulatory, Market Research, to execute, metric and refine professional and consumer marketing; Represent the dermatology team with key professional/consumer societies and key opinion leaders; Ownership of brand marketing budget; Routinely analyze business trends, anticipate issues/opportunities, and develop plans of action; Develop strategy and execution plan for sales meetings; Motivate field sales force through marketing efforts and align incentive comp with strategy and key behaviors;; Coach, develop and motivate direct reports (PD/PMs); ; Ensure execution and delivery of forecast goals and business objectives for the dermatology franchise; Provide an environment which encourages the company's commitment to equal employment opportunity and the value of a diverse work force.
Qualifications
A minimum of a B.A./B.S. required; MBA or other related advanced degree strongly preferred.
A minimum of seven years of sales and/or marketing experience in healthcare or consumer industry is required of which a minimum of three years of demonstrated in line U.S. product marketing experience with proven performance is required.
Knowledge of large molecule products is preferred.
A minimum of three years people management experience is required.
Payer management / environment experience is preferred.
Demonstrated experience in critical marketing competencies (improve competitive position of product, drive growth of brand).
Experience directing and managing advertising agencies
Demonstrated leadership capabilities (ability to lead group)
Must be innovative, proactive, and strong analytically with excellent overall business acumen
Must be capable of managing and prioritizing multiple priorities
Demonstrate excellent communication skills
Must have demonstrated understanding of the payer environment and influence on product choice.
This position is based in Horsham, PA and may require up to 30% domestic travel.
