The job:
Reporting to the Executive Director of Digital Research, the Director of Ad Reseach & Analytics will conceptualize and deliver Time Inc’s next generation advertising analytics solutions while providing senior management and digital advertising clients with the audience and campaign insights needed to support their objectives. In this position, you will drive deployment of campaign analytic tools and solutions to provide turnkey, scalable, and useful analytics across multiple digital platforms.
You will:
Leverage a wide range of ad performance tools to generate insights that will drive strategic advertising related decisions for the network.
Ensure that audiences and campaigns are accurately captured and fairly represented to our advertising clients
Generate campaign analytics reports and formulate insights for our clients
Develop and manage Time Inc.’s advertising campaign analytics tools and solutions
Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization to drive product development processes and bring those tools and solutions live
Work closely with marketing, sales, revenue operations, ad product management and research teams to develop product requirements for campaign analytics tools and solutions.
Develop a standard lexicon and KPIs for all campaign types and platforms
Design easy to understand campaign reporting templates and replicable approaches for correlating campaign metrics to client objectives
Play an active role as a “super user” of the campaign analytics tools to help drive Network Level and Key Account insights that support the sales, marketing and research teams
Act as an internal/external product evangelist and a Time Inc. expert for campaign analytics tools and products. Actively collaborate with sales and marketing teams to assist in crafting, pitching, closing, and renewing business.
You are:
Experienced: You have seven to ten years of campaign or audience analytics experience at a media company, ad technology vendor, digital agency, portal or advertising network. You bring a deep understanding of the advertising technology landscape and have experience interacting with many of the leading players across the “Lumascape”. An MBA with a working knowledge of Data API’s, Integration and Visualization is preferred.
Skilled: This isn’t your first time working with audience and campaign measurement solutions such as Nielsen, ComScore, Omniture and other ad reporting platforms. Your knowledge and intuition guide your solid approach to ad sales, marketing and research.
Hard-working: Superior project management skills and an ability to juggle multiple initiatives. In other words, you get the job done, no matter what. Your diligence and attention to detail keep team members on track, on time, and on budget.
