General Summary:
The Region Retail Director of Finance contributes to the success of the Pepsi Beverages Company by supporting the National Key Account Managers and functional Sales Executives. This person will focus on providing a 'line-of-sight' to the revenue and gross profit outlook for the business by coordinating the forecasting processes as well as providing value-added insight through ad-hoc analysis. The ideal candidate is results-driven and demonstrates intellectual curiosity, analytical thinking, technical prowess, and the ability to be both a team leader and member.
Key Responsibilities include:
Closely liaison with Region Planning Manager to ensure company metrics are achievable
Responsible for timely and accurate sales reporting and score-carding key Topline growth objectives
Coordinate the period, quarterly and annual Topline forecast and planning processes
Understand and communicate the key performance efficacy (drags or drivers) of results
Create and manage a review process for monitoring revenue and margin performance; including adherence to forecasts, return on investment and other key business dashboard metrics
Manage and develop a team of 2 Retail Sales Finance Managers and one Finance Analyst
Support and provide finance sponsorship or North American selling/reporting tools
Develop and rol lout analytical tools to facilitate profitable decisions making
Build financial literacy capability with the Key Account Sales Organization
Support sales and multifunctional teams on ad-hoc and strategic project
Closely liaison with external partner, PQTG (Pepsi Quaker Tropicana Gatorade)
Develop executable action plans to address Topline risk outlooks
Required Experience, Skills and Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in Business required
Masters in Business Administration (MBA) an asset
3+ years of work experience in financial/planning as a Planning Manager required
Experience in consumer package products or similar industry preferred
Strong customer relations, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
Strong problem solving, planning, organizational and analytical skills
Experience in analyzing and forecasting P&L results is essential
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Strategic understanding of business issues
Some business travel required
Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Suite
