Job description
Oversees in-house and outsourced Service Design and Service Transition Program Management efforts, including Service Design scope/resourcing validation and planning. Ensures that programs are staffed for success and profitability. Implements special programs to ensure on-time Service Transitions; ensures milestones are met for client transition and Avaya revenue attainment.
Provides total program leadership over special programs, including direct accountability for timely and successful completion of development efforts on Avaya’s managed services platform, MATRIx.
Oversees program management team’s performance. Responsible for defining program strategies, planning activities and defining and managing milestones.
Also responsible for assigning resources, coordinating with vendors/services providers/suppliers, coordinating and overseeing project activities, resource scheduling, contractual compliance, customer satisfaction, and overall milestone achievement.
Business acumen, problem solving, team building, negotiation, and conflict management skills are required.
Defines the goals and objectives for one or more functional business units. Work is performed with minimal direction and reviewed by senior management.
Anticipates and identifies complex business needs and recommends solutions to complex problems.
Requires Program Management experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:
- Design and execute special programs to drive Service Design and Service Transition efficiency.
- Oversee and validate Service Transition staffing and resource planning with Supplier for outsourced Service Transition Program and Project Managers including Client Activation and Technology Transformation resources / staffing
- Monitor Service Design & Transition Resource modeling and consumption to ensure optimal resource application throughout implementation and/or onboarding activities, for retained and outsourced programs.
- Lead program oversight initiatives to ensure timely and successful completion of key Service Transition programs; manage KPI performance to accelerate revenue recognition and improve client satisfaction.
- Program Manage supplier development of MATRIx managed services platform.
- Monitor and report MATRIx supplier performance, SLA attainment and program status.
- Manage FMEA Risk Assessment and enforce risk mitigation plans and actions.
- Manage Program Management Office programs and personnel.
