Senior Director of Global Search
Position Summary

We're looking for a Recruiting leader to drive long-term executive recruiting success and long-term employee engagement through the creation and management of world class recruiting and employee engagement programs. This position will also be the strategic mind behind the employment brand and positioning of Expedia as an employer of choice in the high-tech market.

To be successful in this role you will have a passion for connecting to world-class executives and introducing them to their next career. You must be experienced managing and staffing a team including contingent recruiters; have a proven track record of establishing, communicating and improving on key metrics and have a history of raising the bar on an executive team.

We're looking for a seasoned professional with stellar written and verbal communication skills, someone who has created and delivered successful recruiting related training, established best practices, key metrics and reporting and is PASSIONATE about what they do and rallies and energizes those around them to exceed goals.


Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for worldwide executive recruitment efforts including North America, APAC and EMEA.
Develop and implement the strategic, tactical, and business recruiting operational plans for assigned clients in line with company strategies and objectives.
Drive the maintenance and enhancement of the recruiting marketing programs, processes, methodologies, systems, and tools needed to meet his/her organizational and customer objectives.
Ensure that adequate resources are available to meet recruiting pipeline demand.
Serve as the key recruiting liaison for the Expedia Executive Team.
Manage recruiting budget, workforce planning, and financial modeling for recruiting expenses and contractors worldwide.
Proactively establish and maintain effective high-level, 'trusted advisor' relationships with key customer executives and managers in order to coordinate recruiting engagements, resolve problems, foster client satisfaction, and promote the adoption of Expedia's executive recruiting services.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

7+ years related work experience and proven track record in the high tech, consulting, or retail marketing business industry preferably with a global technology company
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
5+ years recruiting for a consumer brand
5 + years experience as a manager or above in a high growth business, with high volume and high bar recruiting strategies
Demonstrated ability to develop trusted executive relationships and to gain support for complex recommendations using both data, and soft skills
Proven success as an "executive" manager:
In leading/driving change based on data, metrics, and business modeling
In rapidly growing and maintaining high performance organizations
In attracting, hiring, developing and motivating strong staff talent
In taking responsibility for customer success and satisfaction
