Job description
Requirement Summary
A Director of Business Solutions is required to support senior management in accelerating sales to health plans, health systems, and employers for a fast growing consumer-focused healthcare services company. You will help develop strategic initiatives, perform competitive assessments, build financial and ROI models, support complex negotiations, and identify key collaboration opportunities and partners.

Primary Responsibilities
Research specific healthcare markets to identify best collaborators for future initiatives and economic models of future opportunities
Develop go-to-market and annual plans for achieving aggressive growth targets
Identify gaps in sales collateral and help develop content to meet the gaps
Assist in the creation of proposals or similar written business documents for clients, partners or prospects
Develop and customize ROI analysis for key markets (hospital systems, health plans, and employers)
Provide analysis in support of complex deal negotiations
Understand client portfolio in order to extract/analyze trends and related client data

Prepare customer and prospect analysis, presentations, revenue summaries, and related client and deal information for leadership, investors, and board meetings

Desired Skills and Experience
Knowledge, Skills and Background
Knowledge of the healthcare marketplace - specific understanding of health plan and health system structures, priorities, and challenges today
Financial and operational modeling and comfort working with and presenting data – ability to layout models in Excel to show ROI, financial implications, etc.
Ability to quickly define and size markets and evaluate strategic revenue and partnership opportunities
Verbal and written communication skills to make strategic recommendations and write plans
Track record and desire to work as part of high-performing team
Self motivator with a creative, innovative mind

Minimum Requirements
Understanding of health plan and health system economics and trends
Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare field; MBA strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years of healthcare business analysis, business strategy, or related business development experience; management consulting a plus
Proven track record of building strong relationships with customers, employees and vendors
Proven track record of critical strategic thinking, especially creative strategies for rapid growth
