Director - Business Operations - Sales and Operations Planning - Juniper Networks - Sunnyvale

Job description
• Partner with BU’s and Field Sales to link into the Integrated Business Planning Process
• Define tiered engagement model in line with Business Transformation process to scale
• Work with Direct and Distribution teams to get forecast visibility
• Ability to evolve a world class Integrated Business Planning processes
• Ability to interact with key customers to drive clarity in customer demand trends
• Providing aggregated reporting, trend/gap analysis, benchmarks, and insights to the planning organization
• Develop and Drive accountability and process improvement based on key performance metrics and targets
• Participate and lead Asset Velocity improvement projects within Operations
• Work with Senior BU and Sales Leadership through the organization to enable best practices
• Champion the need for better visibility via Salesforce.com and Siebel
• Participate in EOQ Execution meetings and preparations to cover planned opportunities to close business

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration
• MBA or Masters in Supply Chain a plus
• A minimum of 15 years’ experience in S&OP, forecasting and demand planning experience
• Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills required
• Expertise with supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, MRP, inventory optimization, logistics – gained through work experience – preferably in a Telecom/Compute electronics environment
• Knowledge and understanding of Sales Forecasting tools (SalesForce.com and Siebel preferred)
