Want to revolutionize how customers across the globe buy things? Amazon is looking for a Senior Director of Product Management to lead a new suite of product offerings for customers. In this role you will:
Have a major impact-you’ll make life dramatically more convenient for customers by giving them quick and easy access to our vast selection of low-priced items
Have a global impact-you’ll define products to match the specific customer needs and fulfillment capabilities we have in the US, China, Japan, Germany, the UK, and beyond
Lead a team-you’ll start with some of the best product managers we have and hire more
Innovate-you’ll come up with new features that leverage the unique strengths of mobile, website, and other platforms

Move fast-you’ll have the resources and the cooperation you need across Amazon to deliver quickly and iteratively
In this role you will own product definition, roadmap planning, and feature design. You will work directly with retail and operational leaders at Amazon on your product vision and details. You will lead reviews of your product with Amazon executives at the highest levels.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of leading teams to think big, define bold and globally relevant products, launch them, and iterate on improvements. You will have experience inventing new approaches in areas where there are no competitors to follow, and digging into the details to make sure those new approaches delight customers the way they should. We are looking for a passionate, innovative leader who is an excellent communicator and brings a proven track record of successfully launching and growing a major new product.

10+ years of product management experience working closely with development teams
Leadership of one or more products adopted by millions of customers
Experience hiring and developing teams of product managers
BA/BS required
MBA/MA required
Experience leading reviews with C-level executives of a Fortune 100 company
Demonstrated ability to launch products in multiple countries
Track record of defining new product offerings from a market-leading position
Experience working with operations groups to define new products
BA/BS/MA in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or Mathematics
