Director - Supply Chain - MP Biomedicals - Cleveland

Job description
The successful candidate is able to implement Supply Chain Management strategies to achieve: lowest total costs, effective asset management, continuous quality improvement, on-time delivery based on PO request dates, and lead time reductions.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

Provides operations with material support to ensure on-time product delivery to our customers to avoid lost sales.
Plans the purchasing with knowledge of production control functions.
Manages sourcing decisions to ensure end products meet technical, financial, and operational requirements.
Liaises among suppliers, engineering, planning, stockroom, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
Manages sourcing decisions to ensure end products meet technical, financial, and operational requirements.
Develops and deploys supply chain processes, policies, and guidelines to worldwide operations.
Promotes and develops worldwide supply chain logistics processes across New Product and Global Supply divisions.

Influences key departments’ heads to provide resources for all improvement initiatives.

Desired Skills and Experience
Organizational Development
Project management, PMP certified preferred
Lean and Six Sigma preferred
Customer relationship management
