Director - Sales Operations - NPS Pharmaceuticals - New York


Job description
Summary:
The Director of Sales Operations manages and leads all support functions related to sales force effectiveness. This is inclusive of Incentive compensation design and payouts, Territory deployments, Targeting, Field reporting, CRM system management, Creating data feedback loops and general Sales administration. Reporting to the Executive director of Decision support, the Director of Sales force operations will work closely with both sales organizations and internal stakeholders to ensure the priorities are aligned the sales force is supported.

Accountabilities:
Incentive Compensation design and reporting: Lead responsibility for working with the heads of sales and their respective teams to design a compensation plan that is motivating and tied to company objectives. Ensure that the plan can be measured with the data available and that it is compliant. Create weekly updates and reporting of the plan by territory, region and nation and lead the quarterly payout cycle and sign offs.
Territory deployments: Work with the Field leadership team to create and design the territory alignments. Update the alignments as needed and ensure that the IC plan and other systems are updated accordingly.

Field reporting: Create and update field reporting to support the marketing and sales initiatives that have been implemented based on the plan. Create weekly, monthly and quarterly field reports so that there is transparency with the data is created. Lead efforts to implement a BI tool and manage all aspects of that reporting.
CRM management: Proactively lead the updates, reporting and data cleansing efforts of our Veeva system. This includes leading the strategy of HCP data master, leading and building the field reporting capabilities through Veeva, Implementing a data feedback loop through Veeva and ensuring alignments and target status’ are updated as needed.
Sales administration: Manage all aspects of ancillary field administration duties. This includes but is not limited to the Fleet program, any proposed sampling programs, field recognition, Exhibits and sponsorships.

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:

Education: Four year college degree, advanced degree preferred

Experience (e.g. Jobs, supervisory, industry, international, etc…):
Two years of sales management experience
Minimum of 5 years in sales, Biotech preferred
10 years of business experience
Experience working with Specialty Pharmacy data preferred
Understanding of Rare/Orphan diseases preferred
Specialized knowledge, Licenses, etc.:

Other skills/attributes:
Demonstrated alignment with NPS values and culture
Proficiency in Microsoft office suite
Mastery of Microsoft Excel
Working conditions (ability to travel, lifting….etc.):
Travel may be up to 20-30%
