Director - Product Management Omnichanel - Ralph Lauren - New York


Job description
The Director Product Management is responsible for the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Ralph Lauren’s omnichannel capabilities program. This role will be a key member of the global digital shared services team and will collaborate to drive a consistent brand and shopping experience in all of the regions and countries where Ralph Lauren operates. This includes the company’s e-commerce site, RalphLauren.com and all country variants, mobile websites and applications, and customer experiences in our physical stores. This role requires great vision, technical depth, communication, and partnership skills. It offers the opportunity to drive our next generation of platforms and services and deliver significant and measurable business and customer impact.
Responsibilities
Drives business requirements and product feature definition for Ralph Lauren’s omnichannel capabilities that ensure a seamless end-to-end customer experience. Defines and assigns features to specific releases to meet key business objectives.
Leads product vision and direction for omnichannel experiences that drive consumer engagement, reinforce the brand, and ultimately converts visitors to buyers.

Establishes and monitors customer satisfaction and other KPIs to define the success of our omnichannel experiences; identifies and lead efforts to analyze results and continuously improve our performance.
Develops and nurtures relationships with key internal stakeholders in support of multiple lines of business. Combines a strong understanding of customer needs with an equally deep understanding of business goals to champion solutions that deliver value.
Communicates with executive level omnichannel stakeholders and steering committee, including leading facilitated discovery and vision sessions, presenting findings and priorities, and negotiating tradeoffs.
Understands changing consumer trends to apply strategies and product roadmaps that deliver added value. Leads cross functional teams to generate new product ideas, researching and analyzing for feasibility and business impact.
Provides strategic guidance on customer experience improvements that help drive customer acquisition, customer retention, and conversion.
Creates insights to guide our omnichannel strategies and corresponding product roadmap through understanding customer’s needs and behaviors, competition and emerging technologies.

Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
10+ years’ experience and proven success in translating business strategy and analysis into successful consumer products
7+ years as a product manager working on digital consumer-facing applications
5+ years eCommerce and omnichannel experience
3+ years as a direct people manager with supervisory accountability
Wholesale and/or department store product management experience strongly preferred
Proven track record of successfully launching new product features
High level of intellectual curiosity and is comfortable with ambiguity
Ability to put team before self and be energetically collaborative
Compelling and effective at communicating with, facilitating and presenting to executive management
