Director - Marketing Analytics & Strategy - Hawaiian Airlines - Honolulu


Job description
Build marketing analytics team to support Product Development, Online Experience, Advertising & Promotions, and other Marketing & Sales groups as needed
Identify potential sources of market insights within and outside HA
Define customer segments and understand customer needs
Develop and drive enterprise customer data strategy
Prioritize market research and analysis activities and direct analysts regarding analysis approach and tools

Oversee creation of reporting tools and dashboards to support routine and ad hoc reporting
Function as liaison with IT to create data feeds for web and email triggered campaigns
Lead special projects related to marketing and customer strategy as needed

Desired Skills and Experience
Over eight years of professional experience, with at least three years of relevant industry / functional experience.
Experience collecting, analyzing and summarizing statistical data.
A demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
Experience managing P&L or department budget.
Broad functional experience in areas of strategic branding and marketing, business and market development, market research and planning and promotions/advertising.
Strong customer orientation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills.
Mastery of quantitative modeling / analytics in Microsoft Excel and Access
Experience with statistical packages (SPSS / SAS), writing of SQL queries, and statistical techniques relevant to market research (e.g., sampling, clustering) highly desirable
Experience with web analytics and methods for optimizing conversion highly desirable
Bachelor’s degree required
MBA or advanced degree in quantitative discipline preferred
