Job description

Sr. Director of Technology - B2B reports to the VP of Technology and will work closely with product management, business partners, customer service and technology team members to plan, design, develop, deploy, maintain and support various B2B platforms and properties.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directly responsible for the full life-cycle delivery of a large suite of technology products
Recruit, mentor and grow world class engineering teams
Envision and manage the technology roadmaps for the GolfNow's course technology solutions
Oversee the management of technology infrastructure used in the delivery of B2B technology products
Work with business product managers, stakeholders and technology teams on product priorities and oversee the development of technical product specifications, system design and implementation schedules.
Provide regular product and project status reports to management and stakeholders
Work to provide creative and resourceful solutions to a constantly evolving business
Create new streamlined processes, remove needless processes
Work closely with the quality team in implementing continuous integration and expedited deliveries for current and future technology
Work closely with product, architecture and platform technology teams to create roadmaps for our future products
Help create a great work environment for your team and peers
Other duties as required

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The ideal candidate is a strong technology leader with a deep understanding of the needs related to golf industry technology. He/she will build and lead technology teams to deliver elegant, simple yet robust web based solutions. He/she will be passionate about usability and have a track record of simplifying products for users. This leader must be highly analytical with hands-on experience managing engineering team, coordinating product development and product support striving for quality and operational excellence.
7+ years of technical expertise including recent experience architecting, designing and launching high-performance systems
3+ years of managing technical teams successfully in a Web 2.0 environment with complex integrations into service based systems
Experience with installed technology used for ecommerce, including integrations to accounting, point of sale, hospitality systems, and other golf related front-office technology
In-depth AND hands on knowledge of Windows, .NET, MS SQL Server as well as open source technologies LAMP stack
History of delivering complex deliverables for multiple customers
Demonstrated success working in and promoting a rapidly changing, collaborative, and iterative product development environment.
Experience with Agile and SCRUM
History of developing great technology teams
Must be technically savvy and comfortable working both with business and engineering teams
Experience gathering system requirements
Experience in a collaborative, team-driven engineering environment
Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
