Job description
Role:
This critical position involves managing multiple teams of Emerging & Premier, After Hours, and Bi-Lingual teams in multiple locations in a 24x7 environment. This role will provide guidance and support to Senior Managers driving a performance-based culture with a focus on achieving sales and performance-based goals while cultivating meaningful client relationships and ensuring client issue resolution. Focus of effort is on achieving and sustaining a high level of client service and operational efficiency within the department. Primary areas of responsibility require extensive knowledge of the securities industry, and TD Ameritrade’s internal policies and procedures. Superior management, coaching, and leadership skills are required. As well as Sales and Service Leadership experience.

Responsibilities:
Lead the strategy of our internal support model by providing the best client experience possible.
Provide leadership to the Emerging & Premier, After Hours, and Bi-Lingual (Asia Pacific & Latin America Services) teams supporting both sales and service as well as test and learn pilots
Provide clear roles, directions, responsibilities and performance requirements for the management team
Establish and define annual temporary workforce strategy during tax season
Ensure effective resolution of client issues partnering with the Office of the President and provide high level communication as needed
Successfully implement LEAN strategies for optimal efficiency and productivity results
Responsible for ensuring proper processes and procedures are being followed and ensure satisfactory audit & supervisory structure is in place.
Direct staff of 150+ Associates and maintain working relationships with partners across Retail
Communicate opportunities for coaching of our Associates in the field through data analysis and feedback
Expand TD Ameritrade’s sales and service value proposition through community and social networking (including partnership with chat and electronic communications)
Recognize service needs and sales opportunities anticipating market activity, new client volume, and new associate support while maintaining a positive and collaborative relationships with the Branch network
Ensure adherence to service level agreements of quality, productivity, accuracy, and any other defined metrics.
Ensure a high level of service is attained in servicing our Associates and clients
Work Together and recognize service needs from supported parties anticipating market activity, new client volume, new associate support, etc.
Effectively coach and mentor management team while accommodating individual strengths and weaknesses.
Communicate opportunities for coaching to our Associates in the field through data analysis, and feedback from interactions on the various teams and opportunities for efficiencies & streamlining point of contacts

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:
4 year college degree.
8 years related experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop Associates.
Broad knowledge and understanding of company and industry procedures, rules and regulations, including but not limited to rules and regulations governing the securities and options markets.
Possess demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous tasks, develop and implement processes, programs and recognize opportunities to optimize resources.
Demonstrate excellence in leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills with detail orientation to perform thorough self-review of completed work.
Ability to work under high pressure while maintaining a positive and professional image at all times.
Excellent communication skills facilitating communication of industry activities and regulations..
Ability to problem solve, resolve complex problems and devise successful solutions
A thorough understanding of the Internet, Web navigation and Windows operating systems.
Understand the basic principles of equity, option and mutual fund transactions.
General account management skills.
Able to quickly learn and utilize numerous complex systems and databases.
Extensive knowledge of the securities industry.
Capable of understanding internal systems and their interface with external agencies.
Series 7 (Registered Representative), 63 (State Securities Registration), and 24 in all 50 states required within 90 days.
