Director - Promotions - DreamWorks Animation - Los Angeles
Job description
The Director, Account Specific Promotions will solicit, negotiate and secure account-specific, co-branded promotions for DreamWorks Classics Home Entertainment product. Work with consumer packaged goods, restaurant chains and other family orientated companies to create innovative partnership programs with the purpose of increasing sell in and driving sell through of product. Will also develop and negotiate national promotional programs.
Additional responsibilities:
· Strategic leader for Big Box Retail and Grocery accounts.
· Responsible for building and driving the marketing strategy, and ensuring it’s executed all the way through the tactics, to achieve/support organizational objectives for market share, volume, revenue, operating income and brand awareness.
· Cultivates and fosters strong working relationships with CPG shopper marketing managers and shopper marketing agencies.
· Manages complex marketing programs that cross multiple business segments, franchises and multiple marketing vehicles (in-store, online, social, PR).
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
· Proven presentations skills with executive presence and leadership.
· 7-10 years’ experience in entertainment, preferably home entertainment.
· Sales and marketing background with particular focus on big box and grocery channels.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Wide network of promotional contacts.
· Ability to identify unique opportunities and implement new concepts.
· Self-starter and independent worker.
