Director - Professional Services - Avoka - Denver


Job description
Avoka Technologies is currently looking for a strong, energetic leader who can direct our North American professional services and support teams, drive the creation and successful delivery of client solutions, and ensure adherence to customer support SLAs.
Our ideal candidate will possess a positive, engaging and goal-oriented management style and must be comfortable working in a cross functional team environment. Our ideal candidate will bring strong client services experience and technical strength related to mobile and SAAS software development, delivery and support practices.

Key responsibilities:
Be a proven winner on the fast track to executive leadership
Work closely with other departments and customers to ensure timely delivery of Avoka products and solutions, and that customer business objectives have been met
Responsibility for the North American Client Services team’s financial objectives, including utilization, productivity and contribution margins and adherence to support SLAs
Manage budget and resource activities for staff including forecasting and management of resources in support of client projects
Develop detailed, documented work programs to guide product and service delivery, and establish targets and measures for the achievement of project delivery and customer support performance service levels to provide a high-quality, cost-effective experience
Effective management of escalated issues with management within the client organization.
Detailed hands-on approach to scope and pricing of implementation and consulting services
Design and execute personnel development plans for team members. Provide product cross-training to develop skills required to successfully implement client solutions

Desired Skills and Experience
In order to be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:
Minimum 5 years of exceptional leadership in leading, managing and scaling a growing professional services division for an enterprise-focused SAAS or software company
Minimum 5 years hands-on Java/J2EE application development experience
Excellent client relationship management skills and ability to serve as a trusted advisor
A roll-up sleeves approach to the design, development, implementation and measure of professional services
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative nature
A proven track record of achieving and overachieving against goals
Demonstrated good verbal, presentation and written skills; the ability to speak to groups and lead or facilitate technical workshops
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a computing discipline
