Director - Product Management - MEDHOST - Nashville

Job description
The Director of Product Management is the principle lead for the definition and execution of release and sprint planning for business-line products. The Director of Product Management will also collaborate with other functions and lead a team of Product Managers to execute business-wide roadmap strategies.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED)
Collaborate with Product Management, other functional groups, and customers to develop business line product strategy.
Work with sales and prospective clients to communicate business line product strategies.
Collaborate with other MEDHOST groups and individuals to develop and manage advisory boards and user groups.
Define, execute, and evolve product management practices.
Communicate product changes and regulatory compliance initiatives to MEDHOST staff and customers.

Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum of BS degree in associated field of studies.
5+ years of experience in delivering enterprise software solutions.
5+ years of experience with clinical software solutions.
3+ years of demonstrated experience involved in the delivery of complex healthcare enterprise software solutions to external customers.
Experience with other healthcare vendor information systems a plus.
Good interpersonal skills that include the ability to effectively communicate in both writing and verbally.
Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to multi-task.
Ability to demonstrate supportive relationships with peers, clients, partners, and corporate executives.
Must be flexible with a “can do” attitude and have the ability to remain professional under high pressure situations.
Ability to retain and protect confidential material.
