Job description
We are currently accepting applications for a full-time Director of Marketing & Public Relations. We are seeking a seasoned marketer and PR person to lead a dynamic team of talented marketing professionals focused on driving innovation in marketing within the healthcare arena. The Director role requires someone driven to do something meaningful while at the same time paving a new path of marketing excellence in healthcare.

Primary purpose is to oversees all public relations, marketing and business communication strategies and tactics for The Christ Hospital Health Network, a nationally recognized organization with 125 years of exceptional care and leadership.

Seeking seasoned communications professional, who has worked in positions of increasing responsibility, to:
• Develop, execute and measure broad range of integrated marketing communications plans and activities to support business goals of health care network, hospital, physicians and service lines.
• Development of product/service line positioning
• Proficient in the development of audience-centered (consumer, patient, physician and employee) messaging and writing for a variety of public relations and marketing media.
• Apply strong analytical skills to help clients/business units identify and refine marketing goals and measure results and impact.
• Analyze current markets, trends, research and opportunities and develop/oversee implementation and approach for all strategic public relations and marketing initiatives.
• Provide consultative support for organizational leadership, physicians, managers, affiliated service lines, marketing leadership and division's marketing team.
Desired Skills and Experience
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in journalism, marketing, communications or related field. MBA a plus.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Seven years in a marketing and/or agency role required with 3+ years of management experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Demonstrated leadership, strong consumer marketing foundation, ability to develop strategic plans and drive excellence in execution, forward thinker, strong communication skills, Public relations experience, team facilitator and builder, good with building cross department relationships, able to persuade others of a particular POV.
