Position Description:

This is a communications role that is vital to the execution of high-quality colleague communications and to the effectiveness of the Zoetis Corporate Communications team. The chosen candidate will join a small, dedicated team that is responsible for developing and executing on an enterprise-wide leadership and colleague communications program designed to educate and inform the company's 9,300-strong global workforce.

This position, which is accountable for colleague communication deliverables for Zoetis' Enabling Functions, reports to the Director of Leadership & Colleague Communications.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Partnering with other members of the Corporate Communications Leadership Team to develop, and then deliver, program-specific and quarterly internal communication plans across five main client groups:
Business Technology (20%)
Corporate Affairs (20%)
Finance (10%)
Human Resources (40%)
Legal (10%)
Developing and writing all colleague-focused content in support of our Enabling Functions for internal channels including, but not limited to: email, intranet, digital and print signage, and Town Hall Meetings
Partnering with other members of the Corporate Communications team, and the team's small roster of vendors, to deliver high impact visual and written communications that support the company's brand
Developing strong relationships with subject matter experts across the company to ensure colleague communications are informed by company perspectives, events and activities and that messaging effectively resonates in all parts of Zoetis
Measuring the impact and effectiveness of all communications produced, in terms of cost per colleague, return on investment, and execution against intentions, as well as colleague behavior change where applicable.
Supporting all members of the Leadership and Colleague Communications and Corporate Communications teams with the execution of business requirements as needed

Educational & Experience Requirements:

7-10 years of experience and demonstrated skill in communications operations in a complex global matrix organization
5-7 years of relevant experience demonstrating skills in project management, colleague communications, digital communications
In-house Corporate Communications, public relations, media, and/or agency experience desired
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a communications discipline.
Experience or familiarity with managing communications from Human Resource, Information Technology and Legal functions preferred

Capacity Requirements:

Proven experience in managing multiple communication tasks at any one time
Proven ability to create and implement process and procedures to bring efficiencies to team tasks
Demonstrated track record of client service, project management, organization skills, and attention to detail
Able to collaborate with technical and non-technical groups
Able to provide creative and innovative approach with a focus on meeting stakeholder needs
Capable of working well in a team environment but also in a global matrix organization
