Director - Administrative Services - 20th Century Fox Film - Los Angeles


Job description
The Director, Administrative Services is responsible for day to day operations of the Mail, Print, Xerographic, Scanning, Package, Air Freight and the Call Center departments.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Day to day operations of all Print Administration Departments
Support for the Executive Director
Scheduling, facilitating and monitoring of all department processes.
Management of the Studio's 298 Xerox machines
Record keeping and filing
Project bidding and costing
Liaison with Fox business units.
Manage related vendors and contractors
Provide technical direction for all departments as needed
Must keep up to date with ever changing industry advancement and trends

Desired Skills and Experience
-High school graduate or equivalent education and/or experience
-Strong analytics and computer skills
-5 years of hands-on experience in studio and/or business printing, scanning, xerographic and mail/package distribution
-Experience managing a Call Center
-Must display a thorough working knowledge of the print production process ( such as printing, paper weights, inks, finishing, composition, graphics, and bindery)
-Must have a thorough knowledge of both domestic and international postal regulations
-Strong attention to detail and customer service with the ability to solve problems as they arise
-Must be able to follow strict production timelines
-Must be customer service oriented and able to exercise a high degree of judgment in both client and vendor relations
-Must have outstanding employee and department management skills
-Exceptional financial skills are required for project estimating, department budgeting, forecasting as well as cost containment and analysis
-Must be a self-starter with a thorough knowledge of the entertainment industry, able to carry out duties unattended, be well organized with exceptional communication skills and have an advanced understanding of managing service related departments
-Must be able to communicate with executive management at all levels
-Must have thorough knowledge of Xerox machines
-Must be proficient in MS Office; Acenza is a plus
-Prefer institutional environment experience (hospitals, universities, studios)
-Prefer experience in union environment
