Director - EUC Partner Marketing - VMware - Palo Alto

Sr. Director EUC Partner Marketing
The Sr. Director of EUC Partner Marketing will work with key strategic partners, channel partners and technology providers to ensure VMware is maximizing its investment in these relationships. While working with VMware alliance and field marketing teams, this person will develop specific goals, strategy, go-to-market plans, marketing content and sales tools to ensure we are reaching our revenue and marketing goals for each partner. This role will leverage his/her experience to build out scalable marketing initiatives that can be leveraged with global Alliance partners that result in increased revenue, thought leadership and market share for VMware solutions and technologies.
More specifically, this person is responsible for defining the global EUC partner go-to-market strategy and execution plan. This strategy encompasses the comprehensive approach to enable VMware’s internal partner facing team, and ultimately the partner ecosystem to effectively sell and market VMware’s portfolio of EUC solutions to support achieving the goals outlined above, as well as paying close attention to partner sat.
This person needs to be a strong consensus builder as they will work in collaboration with both internal stakeholders, as well as with key EUC partners to develop the strategy and prioritize where to focus first for maximum impact on the business. This person will work with the Global Partner Marketing and Global Partner Enablement teams to determine places of intersection to leverage and plug into existing programs, as well as identify gaps and work to drive closure in those areas. Additionally, this person will have tight integration with the field PBMs and PMMs to enable them to clearly articulate a concise and consistent message to partners regarding VMware’s approach to win in EUC.

Requirements

* 15+ Years marketing experience in a high technology company. Previous experience in Alliance, Channel or Partner Marketing preferred

* Proven Expertise and passion for developing joint partner marketing materials

* Ability to articulate and craft positioning and messaging of joint technologies and then to drive creation of joint content such as presentations, whitepapers, datasheets, and other marketing materials.

* Proven, broad marketing experience including execution across demand generation, content development and other marketing activities

* Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Ability to build strong relationships with and influence peers and business teams not under direct control. 4-5 years senior management experience managing and leading a team as well as influencing partners externally and senior executives internally

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Self-starter, leads and facilitates management of details needed to accomplish tasks; simultaneous management of several programs and initiatives

* Undergraduate degree required; MBA degree is a plus
