Want to transform the way consumers shop for Fashion ? Amazon Fashion is one of the fastest growing businesses at Amazon that includes clothing, shoes, jewelry and accessories - we are seeking a Senior Manager to own the delivery of the product roadmap to remove barriers for online shopping and invent new technology. In this position, you will lead a group of technical program managers and work with business and technology teams across Amazon to deliver. You will be a key leader of our product vision and work on translating that vision into implementation in a highly agile and dynamic environment.

As a Senior Manager, you will recruit and lead a team of highly motivated technical program managers in taking Amazon Fashion to the next level. You should be a natural collaborator and enjoy working in a fast-paced fun environment. Having strong knowledge of software and system architecture is a must. You should lead by example and set an exceptionally high bar for yourself and the team.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong CS background, a passion for working on behalf of customers and the ability to operate independently and autonomously. Maturity, judgment, negotiation skills, influence and leadership skills are all essential. The applicant will possess senior project management experience in a fast moving business with a track record of delivery enabling them to generate quality business case support and analysis of projects, and ideally some technical experience.

The Key Responsibilities of the position include end-to-end ownership of projects in cross functional areas that span groups across Amazon. Also required is demonstrated success in planning and scheduling projects, understanding complex architectures and distributed solutions.
Owns end-to-end delivery of world-class products that support Amazon Fashion.
Be a catalyst of ideas and the visionary and strategist who works with business and technology teams to build and deliver top-notch features and products that help grow our business at the most effective marginal spend possible
Effectively manage feature roadmaps and ensure they are clearly defined and communicated across all locales
Coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy new features sets; as well as analyzing cost/benefit of feature selection and communicating results throughout the organization
Works closely with Product Management and Business Leaders to prioritize the right projects for achieving our objectives
Works closely with the development teams to develop integrated features and tools
Bachelors in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
10+ years of relevant work experience in Program Management and a proven ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements
Proven track record of delivering the right set of features that has high consumer impact
Proven analytical and quantitative skills, and tools to perform analysis. Ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases.
High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications.
Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees.
Should be able to think strategically and execute methodically and tactically.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
Composed, poised and professional demeanor.
History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
Masters or higher degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
