Hitachi Global Alliance Director, Internet of Things (IoT)
Oracle, Worldwide Alliances and Channels

Worldwide Alliances and Channels expand Oracle's revenues by generating and managing partner solutions and opportunities. Partner involvement allows Oracle to reach broader markets or penetrate selected target markets by providing complementary software products, system integration, or hardware infrastructure.

Oracle is hiring a Global Alliance Director with specific expertise in IoT and Alliances to support the Hitachi Alliance.

Detailed Description
Develop and execute the strategy with one of Oracle's Diamond partners Hitachi Consulting and other Hitachi entities for the North America Market.
Draft a strategy and execute a plan focused on exceeding goals around executive alignment, solution development and revenue attainment.
Drive a $50M revenue IoT initiative over three years.
Own the North America Revenue and GTM objectives.
Drive, monitor and report on pipeline, performance and revenue are important elements of the role.
Builds long term, strategic relationships with named and vertical business alliance partners.

Desired Skills and Experience
Preferred Requirements
Demonstrated track record developing and managing Global Partnerships and driving Partner account activity
Strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills preferred with the ability to influence.
Self starter with strong business acumen
Experience managing a successful alliance with the ability to learn quickly and balance multiple priorities
Expertise around trends in the IoT and M2M markets and associated Oracle products in addition to a good general understanding of Oracle products and markets.
Be able to create go to market initiatives and assist with marketing and sales programs that drive revenue.
Consistently and clearly message the Partner Value Proposition and Strategic Direction of the Alliance both internally and externally
Gain mind share by driving the development of joint sales tools, collateral, press releases, presentations and webinars.
Proactively align opportunities and activities with identified alliance goals
Meet or exceed assigned influence revenue objectives.
Excellent relationship building/relationship management skills.
Develop and gain stakeholder agreement on alliance initiatives and business plan.
Have good communication skills to communicate Alliance progress, issues, and expectations, taking corrective action when necessary.
Strong analytical, sales channel and marketing skills.
Secondary education in Marketing or a related field preferred.

Location: This position can be based in any US location, preferred locations: Bay Area, Dallas, CA or Atlanta, GA.
Travel: 25%- 50% travel expected
