Finance Business Planning Director - PepsiCo - Somers

Job description

This role provides a unique opportunity for a finance director to develop sales finance skills, while working and collaborating across PepsiCo divisions (FLNA, PBC, and QFS) and Customer GM/VPs.This position will support the PepsiCo Sales Grocery and Transformation customer teams and will provide leadership and financial direction to the customer leadership team. In addition, the position will provide leadership and direction to a team consisting of 1- 2 Associate Finance Managers.The role provides financial and strategic support to the GMs for Kroger, Safeway, Publix, Naturals Channel and new Ecommerce teams.

Key Accountabilities:
Lead customer performance management across all PEP Divisions to include forecasting and gap closure for Net Rev, Share and Profit
Lead Period Operating Review preparation and effective communications with key stakeholders on key drivers of performance
Lead/Support initiative to get visibility to customer level P&Ls
Provide financial support and stewardship to GM/VP of Sales
Manage financial aspect of Joint Business Planning with the Customer
Support quarterly IR requirement by updating Customer Financial Health
Develop customer 3yr growth plan that will be leveraged by the Divisions during SBP
Annual & Strategic Planning: provide leadership and direction to the teams throughout the SBP (Strat Planning) process, the AOP process and lead PO1 event analysis
Take point on center led strategic projects for the customer teams and the broader PepsiCo Sales Finance team. Translate tactical performance into long term strategic initiatives and be able to effectively communicate overarching themes and messages to senior management.
Continually seek ways to streamline tools and processes, as well as share and implement best practices across PepsiCo Sales Finance
Develop and own share forecast
Provide oversight to teams on development and achievement of Annual G&A Plans Effectively manage and develop direct team consisting of 1 or 2 Associate Finance Managers

Qualifications:
5 years of relevant post-MBA experience
Advance excel and PowerPoint skills
Strong written and written verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with personnel from all levels of staff and management
Division Sales Finance Experience a plus
Highly Analytical and Solutions oriented
Ability to get results through collaboration and influence
