Director - Marketing - S.D. Deacon - Seattle
Job description
In collaboration with Business Development, Pre-Construction, and our innovating marketing team, the Director of Marketing will partner with Executive staff to execute S.D. Deacon’s marketing strategy across the entire organization. The Director of Marketing is responsible for the development, execution and measurement of S.D. Deacon’s marketing strategy for existing and future targeted market sectors.
The Director of Marketing will take point on strategizing, prioritizing, planning and managing the execution of a well-defined marketing campaign. The person in this role should be an expert on our existing and targeted clients, and a source for understanding the needs and values defined by our various divisions. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits are crucial.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s in business or marketing required
Experience managing a team of well established marketing professionals in multiple offices
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Willing to travel 25%
Previous corporate rebranding experience is strongly desired
Proven ability to think strategically and execute marketing campaigns
Ability to collaborate with executive management, shareholders, peers and outside marketing firms
Experience with InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Coesential is ideal
Manage company website, brochure materials, job site signs, ads, etc.
Most importantly lead by example. Be a working supervisor who is eager to jump in and perform daily tasks
Recognize the differences in each marketing coordinator and manage to their strengths
