Job description
As Director of Marketing, you will build and develop marketing strategies to meet the goals and expectations of the company’s growth plan. The management and direction of both internal and external third party resources will be a key component of your success. The understanding of sales strategy and how marketing plays a role in its success and delivery will be of the utmost importance.

You will build and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals, ensuring that all messaging, tools, and strategies are aligned and sales initiatives are properly supported.

Position Responsibilities
Lead marketing team to develop and implement successful marketing strategies
Analyze customer and salesforce requirements and develop recommendations for marketing tools and resources to improve spend to lead ratio
Develop content and execute customer events
Work with colleagues to define content and implement internal programs
Responsible for analysis, planning , implementation and control of tactical programs working with agencies and third party vendors
Interact frequently with customers and salesforce to continually improve marketing programs and materials
Develop media tools and lead the implementation of a press program
Develop content for customer-focused communications
Lead branding efforts by driving the execution, timing and follow up of marketing and communication strategies and tracking campaign results
Manage agency and vendor relationships
Lead and execute trade show strategy including key messages, booth and promotional presence, major events, calendaring and budget
Responsible for developing, editing, revising, and production of marketing collateral including fliers, brochures, newsletters, website, videos and other marketing platforms
Develop and manage comprehensive lead generation program
Optimize website to best understand utilization, develop rich content and monitor effectiveness
Provide regular feedback to management regarding project status as well as other critical issues which affect the attainment of project completion dates
Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures

Desired Skills and Experience
A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. MBA preferred.
Must have proven track record of developing and managing a marketing organization for a service sales organization.
7+ years of progressive responsibility in healthcare marketing
Proven track record of successfully managing third party service vendors.
Strong written communication skills, including the ability to write reports, draft proposals and business correspondence.
Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Experience interacting with physicians and clinicians.
Expert-level ability with a CRM system; experience with salesforce.com is a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency expected).
You may be expected to travel up to 20%.
