HCM Product Strategy Director – Core HR Product / Payroll Product / Learning Product – Redwood City, CA or Remote (nationwide)

Oracle HCM Cloud Product Strategy operates in an environment that is very dynamic, requires excellent communication skills, and provides continuous change and growth opportunities. Working with marketing, development and various other organizations, product strategy involves both the strategic direction as well as the relevant product content that will provide the product growth necessary to achieve the vision of the company, the product line and the product itself.
Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture.
Skill Set:
- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area
- 7-10 years of software product management and/or development or related experience
- HCM software industry experience
- Combined practical and software application experience with the relevant products
- Be considered a subject matter expert on HCM and Talent Management
- The ability to create and communicate a product vision internally and externally
- The ability to clearly communicate and position the specifics of the product vision to the market
- Desire to work as a team member with others, both inside and outside of the team
- Be self-motivated and able to make decisions quickly
- Stay current on new trends and initiatives in HR and Payroll and Talent
- Have an understanding of the software development process

HR Product Strategy: Drive the product vision for the Fusion Core HR Product and industry strategy for HR across industries such as Public Sector, Retail, Higher Ed, Fin Serv, etc; Be an evangelist for the Oracle HCM Cloud Product
Payroll Product Strategy: Drive the product vision for the Fusion Global HR & Global Payroll Country Extensions; Be an evangelist for Fusion Global HR and Global Payroll
Learning Product Strategy: Drive the product vision for the Oracle Cloud Learning products; Be an evangelist for the Oracle Cloud Learning Products
