Director of Product Management, Mobility Platform

Reporting to the VP of Product Management, The Director of Product Management will be the unifying force behind the definition and execution of Good’s Secure Mobility Platform for the industry’s leading Smartphone platforms iOS, Android and Windows 8 that fuels Good’s internal, 3rd party ISV and Enterprise developers with compelling SDK, App Wrapping and HTML5 Plugins. Combining feedback from sales, marketing, development, customers, partners and prospects to set the strategic vision and lead the execution on new features and tools. This is an important and strategic role within the company, and our expectations are equally high. The Director of Product Management will lead a team and gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with development to continue to deliver a remarkable product that delights the application developer and the enterprise user. Responsibilities include driving the mobile platform to be the defacto standard for enterprise mobility.

You will lead a team of Product Managers as well as work with Engineering in a fast-paced, agile environment. You will drive all aspect of the platform to ensure success, from sale to marketing, operations, engineering and the developer community ensuring the platform is viable for the developer community and the Enterprise. You will also interface with Product Marketing to support Go to Market initiatives. You will be a key leader of cross-functional teams supporting decisions according to business goals, product vision/roadmap and go-to-market strategies.

You must possess a combination of leadership, business and technical skills as well as having a passion for mobile developers. You should be able to act as an evangelist for Good’s platform and have the ability to drive the platform to a defacto standard in the mobile enterprise. You must be comfortable with frequent interaction with executives of Fortune 100 customers and prospects presenting the power of the platform, application ecosystem, related technologies and the product road maps.

Responsibilities include:
Work with cross-functional teams (Development, Business Development and Quality Assurance) to deliver high-quality products on-time
Influence the process to define the product strategy, road map and priorities
Understanding of the technology from a Developer prospective and ability to demonstrate a software development platform
Understanding of Developers portals (structure and content), as well as Developer Programs that facilitate platform adoption
Work closely with external customers and partners
Be a go-to person and strategic leader within the company
Travel as required

Desired Skills and Experience
Required Skills & Experience:
10+ years experience leading enterprise application platforms
Understanding of SDK, API, App servers, SOA or similar technologies required
4+ years managing other product managers
Strong background with agile development methodologies
Experience in fast-paced environments with overlapping projects/deliverables
Passion for mobile enterprise solutions

Natural ability to relate to and deeply understand the needs of the enterprise customer
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Technical Bachelor's degree (MBA or other Master's preferred) or equivalent experience preferred
