Medallia is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead a high-performance team of product managers in our mission to provide the best way for companies to collect, understand, and act on feedback from their customers. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, the Director of Product Management is an important new hands-on leadership role at Medallia.

Your Responsibilities
Drive the product roadmap and long-term product strategy for your product
Manage, hire, and develop a team of product managers as a player-coach
Be the expert on the customer
Provide clear prioritization of product initiatives
Lead the definition of product requirements
Lead a team of designers & engineers to deliver innovative solutions that delight customers
Collaborate with other teams to ensure your product is driving the desired business results
Track and improve key metrics

Desired Skills and Experience
Proven track record of launching successful web/mobile products at a rapid pace
9+ years experience in product management
3+ years experience managing product management
Experience hiring top-notch product managers
Customer-centric perspective
Skilled at defining and prioritizing product ideas
Ability to wireframe product ideas (e.g., Balsamiq)
Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to empathize and communicate with people with different points of view
Experience working in an Agile development process
Strong project management skills
Attention to detail
Open to U.S. and international travel for customer visits
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
