Business Development Manager - API Partnerships - Twitter - San Francisco

Job description
Twitter is seeking a Business Development Manager, API Partnerships who will be responsible for driving the creation of new, high-impact strategic partnerships. This person will be responsible for formulating and executing from start to finish on a scalable framework focused on driving significant user growth and engagement and wide content distribution for Twitter. The position is based in San Francisco, CA and reports into the Director, Business Development.

Responsibilities:
Build a framework and strategy that leverages Twitter data with a focused set of fast-growing partners through Twitter API’s and data to drive growth and engagement and impactful distribution of content.
Formulate and negotiate multi-faceted, first-of-kind deals with strategic partners to completion.
Develop domain expertise and thought leadership regarding the developer ecosystem’s growth, direction and partnership potential as well on potential new opportunities.
Work closely with the product organization to help define user experiences, partner priorities and bring partnerships through from vision to execution.

Desired Skills and Experience
7+ years of relevant business development experience in a consumer-web company
Clear understanding of Twitter consumer products and ad products.
Experience working with consumer internet companies, large and small, across a number of different verticals.
Fluency in speaking about API’s as well as understanding the implications and nuances of partnerships driven by data access.
Sharp strategic thinker who can design and execute on a vision.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills and strong presentation skills
Proven success in negotiating complex deals and driving most aspects of the legal process
Ability to run quickly with little supervision and adapt to a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Math is preferred; MBA or JD a plus
