Business Development Director - Strategic Partnerships - TuneIn - Palo Alto

Job description
As the Business Development Director you will be directly responsible for establishing, developing and executing key distribution, product, and monetization partnerships for Tunein, with a focus on building and expanding Tunein’s relationships with large enterprise partnerships across the globe.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•Prospect, qualify, structure and execute transactions with large enterprises in the consumer electronics, automotive and web industries.
•Drive contract negotiations with partners
•Work with Tunein product, marketing and engineering teams to drive partnerships to execution
•Develop business models and creative deal terms to align Tunein strategic priorities with partner needs
•Develop strategic solutions that balance user and business needs
•Drive relationship building process at multiple levels of the organization
•Work with internal teams to align product roadmap and implement new services
•Analyze performance of strategic partnerships and report results
•Manage, mentor and train business development team
•Represent the company at networking events, trade shows, etc.

Desired Skills and Experience
Requirements:

•7-10+ years successful experience in Business Development
•Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
•Experience working with large enterprise partners / clients (automotive, consumer electronics, media, portals etc.)
•Deep background and knowledge of new trends and primary business drivers in Media and Technology
•Exceptional work ethic and ability to manage time
•Extraordinary people skills, persuasive personal presence
•Ability to navigate across complex organization and cultural boundaries
•Willingness to take action, make decisions and lead
•BA/BS degree
