Job description
The Director, National Accounts is responsible for achieving profitable revenue growth within the National Accounts assigned portfolio and overall Company goals. Further, the Director, National Accounts is responsible for identifying buyer influences; identifying, developing and maintaining executive relationships; overcoming objections; introducing new products; making sales presentations, negotiating pricing; and maintaining total customer satisfaction.
Role Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and delivering compelling sales presentations by leveraging exemplary written and verbal communication skills
Develop partnership between the company and accounts through the coordination of sales, contracts, product support teams, and internal sales on specific accounts
Accountable for enhancing account penetration, relationships and product penetration within named strategic accounts
Responsible for identifying, developing, maintaining and leveraging executive relationships within named strategic accounts
Will perform long range planning to increase account penetration, satisfaction and sales growth for long term results and achievement of assigned target
Rollup all activity and provide assessment of quarterly projections of revenue and units on a weekly basis
Accountable for enhancing account penetration, relationships and product penetration within named strategic accounts
Identify, penetrate, and create demand for identified products
Be able to work independently
Desired Skills and Experience
BS/BA degree required
10+ years of sales experience in the consumer products industry
Proven selling ability into target segments
Must possess a strong knowledge of industry products and competitors sales tactics
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel within assigned geographic territory
Strong MS Office and mobile technology skills
