Job Description
Lead cross-functional team to develop, commercialize, and launch key breakthrough/disruptive initiatives for Fruit and Veggies globally.
Partner with Consumer Insights to develop consumer research plans to test new product innovation from conception to launch.
Partner cross-functionally to develop and commercialize product prototypes.
Lead development of business proposition and financial feasibility.
Lead translation of consumer trends into product strategy and/or positioning.
Define priorities and allocate resources to maximize innovation results.
Identify strategic objectives and key innovation strategies.
Engage external innovation agencies and consumer insights to develop breakthrough innovation platforms.
Communicate with, engage, and gain input from key stakeholders (marketing, sales and operations leadership and key cross-functional leadership.
Work closely with Regions and Business Units to lead/support the growth agenda
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree required
MBA preferred
8+ years Marketing experience (Innovation experience a plus)
Consumer empathy and strong innovation instincts; conceptual and strategic thinker
Creative skills, ability to problem solve and seek alternative solutions to job tasks; generate fresh ideas and ability to think outside-the-box
Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability build consensus and gain internal alignment. Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate working relationships
Excellent multi-tasking, project management, and prioritization skills
Ability to manage and lead people, both internal and external to the org.
Experience in budget and P&L management
Must be willing and able to travel globally and domestically up to 25-30% of the time
Prior exposure to International markets preferred
High level of comfort around ambiguity and complexity
