This position can be located in Atlanta, GA or Greensboro, NC.
The Director of Creative Services plays a vital role in leading the development and creation of marketing and other promotional materials that furthers our brand strategy while demonstrating our professionalism and innovation in the marketplace.
Responsible for defining and maintaining the look and tone of all marketing materials in line with the brand strategy to enhance the image of the company and products, to include: Printed and electronic newsletters, collateral materials, flyers, ads, brochures, e-mails and direct mail pieces, seeing them through from conception to print.
Work with management team and other departments to ensure projects are accurate and completed on time.
Work with internal departments and subject matter experts to ascertain their needs.
Assist in enhancing established visual brand standards and departmental processes; adding enhancements which contribute to the brand equity as well as a clear consistent direction.
Manage graphic designers to ensure quality and brand consistency is achieved in every marketing piece we create.
Position requires 8-10 years professional graphic design experience
2-4 years experience in a supervisory/ management level position responsible for guiding the visual brand standards of the organization.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, and a good eye for detail, with a focus on consistency and technical accuracy.
Advanced understanding of print production/prepress of CMYK and spot color work.
A strong design aesthetic and understanding with a solid grasp on typography, color and layout.
