Job Description

The Compensation & HRIS Manager is responsible for facilitating the development of the compensation design and structure for the organization. In this role, the successful candidate will administer the Company’s various compensation programs (base pay, bonus, stock, perquisites, or any benefits that can be monetized) to ensure that the total rewards package eHarmony offers its employees is competitive and in line with the market.
In addition, this position will work cross functionally to manage our HR Information Systems (HRIS). Responsibilities include business analysis, problem solving and documenting business processes and system requirements, create feasibility studies and business case development. Selecting and managing solution vendors are also a critical responsibility. The role is global and must be able to work across borders and cultures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Management of compensation programs:
Manage incentive/bonus plan, including plan documentation, annual approval process, communication and administration of payments
Manage annual and mid-year salary review processing
Executive compensation program consultation, implementation, and administration
Stock option plan or long-term Incentive program administration
Maintain salary ranges/grade levels and job family/career paths
Wage and salary administration:
Remain current on domestic and international compensation trends and practices as well as any changes in regulations. Routinely review total rewards (working with Benefits Manager), benchmarking data against competitors.
Review job descriptions reflecting job responsibilities, activities, duties, requirements, and determine FLSA exemption status
Maintenance of and reporting on salary structure information
Appropriate wage and salary support for the Company budget process. Ability to model and demonstrate financial impact of compensation plans in support of compensation plan analysis and design
Provide counsel to recruiting on employment offers and HR Business Partner(s) and other internal clients regarding internal compensation issues.
HRIS Management:
Manage all aspects of our integrated HRIS system, coordinating with vendor, payroll and technology teams.
Train other members. Lead issue resolution on HRIS issues.
Develop complex ad hoc reports from HRIS as requested by HR business partners.
Work with HR Coordinator to ensure timely input of data
Perform bulk loads in HRIS, as necessary
Develop and document standard operating procedures for common employee data administration tasks.
Improve processes and drive requirements for additional HRIS improvements to eliminate manual processes.
Implement processes to ensure data integrity controls are in place and manage ongoing processes to ensure data dependencies are managed effectively.
Partner with HR Technology team as a virtual team member providing input on audits, special requests, and new requirements.
Skills, experience and educational requirements:
Bachelors Degree required, Masters preferred
5+ years of compensation experience in the public or private sector; combination of both highly desired; International experience desired.
Demonstrated analytical skills, problem solving and research experience
Advanced skills in MS Excel including analysis and modeling expertise
Experience with high tech and/or games industry preferred
Experience with mergers & acquisitions, and international compensation preferred
Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact and influence senior management to initiate change and lead best practices
Experience with multiple HR systems highly preferred. Must be able to prioritize, work under pressure, and manage complex projects on time and on budget
Ability to work both independently as well as in a team partnership. Self-motivated and able to work with little direction
Strong knowledge of compensation surveys, custom survey design and statistical analysis, incentive plan design and analysis, job evaluation methodologies and pay structure analysis and design
