Channel Sales Manager Zenprise - San Francisco


Job Description

We are looking for a strategic, high energy Channel Sales Manager to join our rapidly grown sales team. The CSM is an outside sales position focused on driving revenue through our reseller partners. The CSM is responsible for identifying, recruiting, enabling and working with key value added resellers to drive new business and retain existing customers.
Desired Skills & Experience

Identify, recruit, on board, enable and grow new channel partner relationships.
Identify and develop joint “go-to-market” strategies and lead demand generation messages with VARs.
Drive incremental revenue growth through Reseller Channels, Distributors & OEMs.
Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue and provide accurate and timely management of information and revenue forecasts.
Establish appropriate performance goals for channels while monitoring progress against those goals.
Manage escalation and conduct weekly progress meetings with channel sales team/engineers.
Be advocate for Channel Partners and Enterprise Corporate Customers.
Work with partners to evangelize Zenprise solutions.
Lead & Manage training metrics and reports key performance indicators to the business.
Facilitate group interactions such as meetings, seminars and workshops.
Conduct training needs analysis with the business and identify learning objectives that will help drive their business.
Design and deliver training to sales teams that move the business forward.
Responsible for executing Zenprise’s B2B strategy into VAR channel segment
Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years channel sales experience
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
Ability to successfully navigate and influence strong personalities within a complex business landscape
Excellent executive level presentation skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
A strong track record of building and maintaining executive channel relationships
Ability to create and execute successful channel strategies that will support revenue growth
Ability to work effectively with field sales, marketing, operations and finance organizations.
Creative problem-solving skills, strong business acumen, an understanding of group and corporate dynamics, integrity and the demonstrated ability to employ sound judgment in complex situations
Fluent in common CRMs, like SalesForce.com and Microsoft Office Products
Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred
Travel Required 50% - 70%
