HR Director at Turner Broadcasting


Job Description

The HR Director will direct, oversee, implement, and project manage key HR initiatives and programs. This includes partnering with Compensation to research and develop strategies for addressing trends, organizational changes, and to drive variable compensation programs, and CMR. Partner with Recruiting to develop strategic recruiting initiatives to address organizational resource issues and changes. Partner with the PDC to ensure learning and development opportunities are relevant and client focused. Address and resolve senior level employee relations issues, provide guidance to managers and employees on policy interpretation. Conduct investigations in response to employee complaints and concerns. Consult executive level managers to create, develop, and execute the strategy for creating a client culture of high performance and results. Actively drive talent management initiatives. Develop HR staff capabilities to drive organizational effectiveness and operational excellence.
Skills

A minimum of 10 years related experience as human resources professional to include responsibility for or exposure to employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, training, and policy input or development. 5 plus years managerial responsibility for staff (multi-location management a plus). Business related experience outside of HR desirable. Prior experience working with and influencing senior executives in a major corporation is critical. Experience in Broadcasting/Entertainment and/ or Technology industry a plus. Experience with client groups that work in 24/7 environment and labor relations experience desired. SPHR or PHR certification is a plus. Bachelor's degree (degree in Business Administration, Psychology and Human Resources a plus). SPHR certification is highly desirable.
