Director- Knowledge Management at Hewlett-Packard


Job Description

- Lead in the development of processes, infrastructure and information resources to facilitate the creation, dissemination and utilization of corporate intellectual capital, expertise and information to create competitive advantage
- Develop and implement Knowledge Management strategy for content management, communication, innovation, and to leverage processes, systems, and tools across multiple lines of businesses and across geographies
- Manage and lead the other members of the Knowledge Management department
- Lead the research-gathering and documentation efforts for new initiatives
- Develop and lead educational sessions
- Manage the Knowledge Management annual budget, performance review and compensation processes
- Analyze social networks and assisting in the formation of communities within an organization
- Construct a knowledge dissemination framework
- Encourage workers to spread knowledge effectively
Skills

• Bachelors Degree, in appropriate computer/business related field
• 10 years of professional experience minimum
• Partner-level experience in a Big 4 or comparable consulting/advisory firm
• Directly managed people in delivering in Knowledge Management at the corporate level in Fortune 500 companies
• Expertise in information technology and industries in which HP competes
• Superior analytical skills and complex problem structuring
• Strong financial acumen
• Demonstrated leadership skills in a team setting
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
• Exceptional project management skills
• Superior communications (written/verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
